We offer an Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) for students with 60 or more prior college credits, a non-nursing associate degree, or a non-nursing bachelor’s degree.
In as few as 16 months, you can graduate with a BSN while enjoying the flexibility of our hybrid model. Online coursework is combined with in-person practice as you build clinical skills through 60 hours of labs and 585 hours of simulation and direct clinical experience.
You’ll also gain an understanding of nursing research and how it applies to evidence-based practice while developing a foundation of skills for leadership in healthcare organizations, including hospitals, community health organizations, and more.
Graduates of this program will prepare for the National Council Licensure Exam for registered nurses (NCLEX-RN®).
If you’re interested in a more traditional college experience, we also offer an undergraduate Bachelor of Science in Nursing program which can be completed in four years of full-time study. Regardless of the program, Avila’s experienced faculty are there to help ensure students are equipped with the skills they need to start a fulfilling career as a nurse.
